Emmi Caffé Latte becomes Love Island’s official iced coffee sponsor

Emmi Caffé Latte has been named the official iced coffee sponsor of ITV2’s reality show, Love Island, which returns for its eight series on 6 June.

Brokered by Emmi’s media agency Electric Glue, the coffee brand was appointed last Autumn following a competitive pitch and is the brand’s first major marketing initiative in the UK.

Produced by ITV Creative, and featuring the “Made With Love” campaign slogan, the creative work will appear on both TV and VOD. It will also feature on the Love Island app, website and social media platforms.

Love Island branded on-pack activation, featuring a competition to win tickets to the final, has also been negotiated as part of the deal and will feature on supermarket shelves.

“We are so excited about the sponsorship with Love Island. It’s a cracking opportunity for our barista-quality iced coffee – we can’t wait to see the results,” Emmi Caffé Latte UK head of marketing Laura Graham said.

Electric Glue CEO Pippa Glucklich added: “Emmi Caffé Latte and Love Island are the perfect match. Drinking iced coffee is now an integral (and celebrated) part of the show and in our consumers’ lives, so it’s the ideal place for Caffé Latte.

“After months of hard work, we are thrilled to see this partnership come to life.”

The news comes as Love Island announced WKD as its official alcohol partner for the series.
