Love Island announces official coffee partner ahead of new series

Iced coffee brand Emmi Caffè Latte is returning as the exclusive coffee partner for this year’s flagship ITV programme Love Island.

To celebrate the sponsorship Emmi has launched a new popcorn flavour alongside limited-edition Love Island packaging – and will equally be seen throughout the series through a product placement execution.

The partnership will also involve a series of competitions offering prizes such as Love Island merchandise and a pair of tickets for an all-expenses-paid trip to watch the final in Majorca.

“We’re excited to be partnering with Love Island for a second year. We know the show resonates with our consumers and creates moments people love, which is the perfect occasion to enjoy our coffee made with love,” Emmi UK head of marketing, John Mulvey said.

“There can be a lot of FOMO about missing out on Love Island, so we’ll be supporting our partnership with a campaign amplifying the moments people love across traditional and social media, be that revelling in the gossip when we “spill the beans” or connecting with friends over that morning coffee and a catch-up on the drama from the show.”

Emmi will also sponsor Love Island’s ‘First Look’  series which will share exclusive clips of the show via social media, the app and website.

An ITV spokesperson added: “We’re delighted to have Emmi Caffè Latte on board again for a second year. We see the partnership as a great brand fit as we know it’s a product that young people love, including many of our Islanders. We look forward to seeing the Emmi content come to life throughout the duration of the show.”
