Christmas ads 2022: Very kicks off the festive season with TV campaign

Very has kicked off the festive season with a Christmas TV advert which celebrates the “lots of days” of Christmas – the key moments that make up the holiday period.

The 40-second film kicks off Very’s multi-media Christmas campaign, which will be running throughout the festive period and inviting viewers to embrace all the days which make the season so special.

The advert, which is soundtracked by Wizzard’s classic ‘I wish it could be Christmas every day’, chronicles one family’s multiple festive occasions, highlighting how the joy of the season comes from celebrating as much as possible with the people who matter.

Opening with a family giving presents to one another, the ad goes on to show all of the different festive occasions the family has been enjoying; from putting up their decorations, a ‘work Christmas’ and even a ‘kids-free Christmas’.

The ad showcases the broad multi-category offering available across the online retailer, positioning it as a one-stop shop for Christmas present shopping.

“Our customers love Christmas, and we want to show how planning early means more time to enjoy the festive period,” said The Very Group’s managing director Robbie Feather.

“Through celebrating the range of unique, and at times wildly different, celebrations that make up the season, we have aimed to highlight how Very can truly be the one-stop shop with the choice and range of products, gifts and brands to help people plan ahead.”
