Gen Z marketing agency helps brands partner with micro influencers

News

Gen Z-focused marketing agency Screenshot Media has launched ‘Micro Boost’, a service dedicated to helping brands and micro-influencers develop partnerships.

Catering to both nano (1-10k followers) and micro (10k-100k followers) creators, the agency’s service will give brands access to brand ambassadors operating on a more local and authentic scale.

Through ‘Micro Boost’, Screenshot Media will offer brands the opportunity to build more genuine connections with online audiences, as more and more customers begin to lost trust in social media stars with millions of followers.

Screenshot’s Media’s own analysis has found that sponsored content by micro influencers generates 30% more positive sentiment than that created by macro influencers.

“Gen Z consumers have moved away from the glossy advertising campaigns produced by influencers with millions of followers. Younger consumers now value authenticity, and this often comes in the form of micro-, or even nano-, influencers,” Screenshot Media founder and CEO, Shira Jeczmien said.

“Often these creators have the most ‘sway’ and the most fiercely loyal followings. For brands, the Micro Boost service will allow them to embed themselves into local internet trends in a way that feels natural and genuine.

“We go with what the trends are saying, meaning that campaigns stay relevant and don’t miss the mark.”

The new service launches at a pivotal moment in the brand ambassador marketing industry, with Forbes predicting that as many as 92% of brands are planning to raise their social and brand ambassador marketing spend in 2024.
