Watch: JD Sports and Wingstop UK ‘Tuckin In’ with new YouTube series

JD Sports and chicken shop Wingstop UK are collaborating to launch a new YouTube series featuring female trio Diary Room HQ, in an effort to meet the taste needs of the businesses’ youthful audience.

The first episode of the ‘Tuckin In’ series, which features the trio Duaa, Aisha and Muna, launched yesterday (14 March) with a new episode set to be added weekly.

The series will see the trio host conversations about the latest hot topics, with guest appearances from media personalities Nella Rose and Darkest Man, who will contribute to the discussions and answer questions, while (of course) sporting the latest JD shoe ranges.

Fans will have a chance to win Wingstop and JD gift cards, allowing to combine the fiery taste of chicken with great taste in trainers.

They will also be able to keep track of updates across @jdsports, @wingstopuk and visit Wingstop stores across the UK.

The move follows on from JD Sports successful 2023 Christmas advert which built on its status as a youth-focused staple, by telling the stories of the iconic yellow JD sports bag at different moments in young people’s lives.

JD’s Christmas advert joined Primark’s advert in winning top spot for black representation, triumphing over the likes of Waitrose, Coca-Cola and Bailey’s.

Despite the iconic advert, the retailer suffered from lower footfall on the high street over the Christmas season.

Tapping into the fast-growing Diary Room HQ’s channel, which already has 276,000 followers further builds JD’s image as a youth-focused and dynamic brand with wide-ranging appeal.
