Pizza Hut has taken on a new CMO as it looks to appeal to younger consumers with a new digital-first approach.
Jana Ulaite, who has previously worked at brands including TikTok and Apple, will be starting will be tasked with delivering brand activity and drawing upon her tech expertise to enable a more modern and digital-first experience for Pizza Hut.
Her most recent role was as vice president of marketing at tech company Tempest.
“I’m delighted to be joining Pizza Hut UK & Europe’s leadership team. As one of the world’s largest restaurant and takeaway franchisers, it is truly an iconic brand,” said Ulaite.

She added that her role will “focus on transforming Pizza Hut into a younger, more culturally relevant, and digital-first brand.”

The chains rival Dominos has moved away from broadcast marketing, and has focused on promotions and brand marketing.
Meanwhile, there is a wider shift from broadcast due to a tough economic climate – with both ITV and Channel 4 experiencing the brunt, as brands look to take on a more social-focused approach.
