Morrisons has signed a new partnership with SpotlessWater to install 24/7 self-service pure water stations across its UK estate, starting with nine sites by January.
The move supports the supermarket’s strategy to broaden the range of services available across its stores and forecourts.
The first stations will launch in Shrewsbury, Lichfield and Woking in October, followed by additional sites including Cardiff, Whitley Bay and Stratford by early 2026. Further locations are planned for later rollout.
SpotlessWater, which supplies ultra-pure water for window cleaners, vehicle detailers and solar panel specialists, currently operates more than 150 stations nationwide and has dispensed over 600 million litres since its 2016 launch.

Its technology is designed to minimise waste, eliminate disposable resins and harsh cleaning agents, and maintain water quality through real-time monitoring by over 45 sensors tracking flow and pressure.
SpotlessWater CEO Tim Morris said the partnership would offer customers “more convenient, secure and well-located stations” while providing Morrisons with a new complementary revenue stream.
Morrisons services procurement manager Jason Mallinson added that the rollout introduces “a new and sustainable service” that supports local professionals and gives shoppers more reasons to visit its stores.
