Ancestry.com enlists Little Dot Studios to grow entertainment profile

Online genealogy site Ancestry.com has appointed Little Dot Studios a contract to manage the YouTube channel content for Ancestry Studios, the firm’s entertainment arm.

Beginning with immediate effect, the collaboration will see Little Dot Studios oversee all of the brand’s YouTube channel content, including channel management and strategic paid media consultancy.

The moves comes as Ancestry.com looks to develop its entertainment offering, with Little Dot Studios tasked with promoting ‘Finding Your Roots, a linear broadcast series now in its tenth season.

“We are thrilled to partner with a leader in channel management on the world’s largest streaming platform,” Ancestry Studios head of partnerships, Phillip Bellezza said.

The digital content studio will now play a leading role in shaping Ancestry.com’s entertainment content, audience and paid media approach, as well as its main remit of organic channel management.
