Skoda partners with Chelsea FC Women in landmark deal

Czech auto brand Skoda has been named as the Chelsea FC women’s team’s ‘official car partner’ in a move which further cements its commitment to women’s sport.

Skoda will now appear across Chelsea FC women’s pitch-side advertising and digital content, in what is its first-ever foray into women’s football sponsorship.

This latest partnership continues the car firm’s clear commitment to female sport, having already partnered with the Tour de France Femmes, as well as entering into a personal sponsorship of Paralympic cyclist Dame Sarah Storey.

“Skoda has shown a passion and knowledge for our women’s team since we first met them. They perfectly align to the values of our team, and I look forward to seeing the partnership come to life as we both continue to push the boundaries of our brands,” Chelsea women’s commercial director, Zarah Al-Kudcy said.

The partnership will be further supported by programme of digital activities will see exclusive content appearing across Chelsea Women’s and Skoda UK’s social media channels.
