Kantar Media appoints new UK and Western Europe CEO

Kantar Media has appointed Lucy Bristowe as its new chief executive officer for the UK and Western Europe, replacing the outgoing Louise Ainsworth from next month.

In her new role Bristow will report into global chief executive officer Patrick Béhar and will harness her extensive experience in the TV and media industry to lead the regional practice.

She will work with joint industry committees as well as buyers and sellers of content and advertising to develop Kantar Media’s cross-platform and cross-media industry services across the UK, Netherlands, Switzerland and Israel.

Béhar said he was “delighted” that Lucy is joining the team.

“I know from my own experience that her infectious passion and sharp strategic outlook on the future of measurement will strengthen our industry leadership position and cement our deep partnership with clients, fulfilling their long-term strategies as we expand our services across platforms and media.”

Having successfully lead research and insight teams at a variety of leading broadcasters including Channel 4 and Sky Media, Bristow was recently listed among the ‘top 50 women gamechangers in TV’.
