Disney Super Bowl ad celebrates 100 years of storytelling

The Walt Disney Company has marked its 100th anniversary by debuting a special commercial during the Super Bowl LVII last night (12 February).

The ‘Disney100 – Special Look’ film collates scenes from various iconic Disney films, series, stage productions, theme parks, and fans, as well as a collection of inspiring words from Walt Disney himself.

The debut of the entertainment company’s milestone ad during the big game last night intends to celebrate ‘the fans and storytellers who have sparked the joy and magic that is Disney over the last 100 years’. The film is also being shown via Disney’s social and TV channels across EMEA, as well as on its streaming service Disney+.

To add to the celebrations of Disney’s 100th anniversary, further Disney100 celebrations across the UK and Europe include ‘Disney100: The Exhibition in London’s’ ExCel, ‘Disney 100: The Concert’, an immersive multi-sensory experience titled the ‘Wonder of Friendship’ and ‘The Wonder of Play’ experience.
