Quorn unveils 2023 marketing campaign to target chicken lovers

Quorn has unveiled a new marketing campaign for 2023 in a bid to convince chicken eaters that Quorn products can act as perfect meat substitutes.

Produced by creative agency Adam&EveDDB, the ads showcase how takeaways after a night out can include Quorn meat-free products such as the brand’s Crispy Nuggets, Quorn Crunchy Fillet Burger and Quorn BBQ Sticky Wings.

The ‘SoTasty’ promotion will roll out via TV, digital, social and PR platforms and will also be supported by sampling campaigns that intend to entice new customers.

“One of the biggest barriers to trying meat-free products can be taste perceptions,” Quorn Foods UK marketing director, Gill Riley, said. “We’re hitting that head-on with this campaign. Our range of products match up to chicken on taste and texture – we invest heavily in sensory, scientific and consumer research to ensure it.”

“This new ad campaign will show Britain’s biggest chicken lovers that our products taste just as good as, if not better, than the meat equivalent, and are perfect for any occasion but especially that post-night out feast.

“We want meat lovers to give Quorn a try, as we know the reaction will be ‘I can’t believe it’s not chicken!’.”

The news comes months after McDonald’s unveiled an ad campaign to promote the launch of its new McCrispy chicken burger.
