TM Lewin appoints Climb Online to drive digital strategy

Iconic menswear brand TM Lewin has appointed London-based digital marketing agency Climb Online to help drive its online growth following its decision to move exclusively into the online sphere earlier this year.

Through this strategic appointment, the historic retailer, which has been trading since 1898, will be hoping to secure future growth and success with its new, ‘stripped-back’ mode of operation after encountering severe difficulties during the coronavirus pandemic which resulted in the closure of all 66 of its UK stores and the redundancy of close to 700 workers.

According to Climb Online, the agency boasts ‘extensive industry experience in developing and implementing digital campaigns and strategies across both paid and organic channels’. The firm add that its ‘commercial-first, transparent approach’ aims to help brands gain a ‘competitive edge.’

Initially appointed in May, Climb Online has been tasked with driving the ailing retailer’s ecommerce footprint whilst improving the all-round profitability of all digital campaigns.

Climb Online managing director, Michael Bush added: “The Climb Online team is delighted to be working with TM Lewin, a brand which represents such a long and prestigious history.

“We, along with Make More Noise, are incredibly excited to support the brand during this next stage of their growth.”
