Crisis homeless charity appoints adam&eveDDB to lead its 2022 Christmas campaign

Crisis, the national charity for people experiencing homelessness, has selected creative agency adam&eveDDB to lead its 2022 Christmas ‘mass awareness’ campaign.

Following a competitive pitch, the Omnicom-owned agency will be responsible for creating a ‘big’ strategic idea that drives ‘fame and consideration’ to support Crisis during its most important time of the year.

Christmas is a key moment for the charity as it has a ‘significant opportunity to reach mass audiences for support, from new donors to volunteers and fundraisers.

The news comes as the cost of living crisis rages on, with soaring prices undoubtedly due to affect homeless numbers later this year.

“For people experiencing homelessness, Christmas can be an incredibly difficult and isolating time of year,” Crisis head of brand and digital engagement, Anna Shardlow, said.

“We need to shine a light on the challenges and day-to-day realities people without a home face and look forward to working with adam&eveDDB to highlight the important role Crisis plays in helping people leave homelessness behind for good.”

Earlier this year, The Guardian reported that the number of homeless people in England is predicted to rise by a third by 2024.

Adam&eveDDB CEO Tammy Einav added: “We have always admired the hugely important work that Crisis does and are excited to be able to help during one of their most important fundraising periods of the year.”
