Marketeers, creatives and celebrities flocked to London today for the opening day of Advertising Week Europe 2025 (AWEurope).
Staged at 180 Studios, The Strand, for the second time, the three-day event will see more than 7000 delegates in attendance, while more than 350 speakers will take to the various stages.
Retail representatives will include marketing leaders from Amazon, Asda and Boots. While international brands set to attend include Disney, Microsoft and Vinted.

As well as dozens of industry experts, there will be a range of celebrity speakers, such as BBC presenter Gary Lineker, actor Emily Atack and comedian Matt Lucas.
This morning (1 April), Pinterest’s UK MD Beth Horn and VP head of Europe Milka Privodanova discussed how positive ad environments can help drive performance with Debenhams Group CEO Dan Finley.

Later, Uber Advertising international lead Paul Wright offered exclusive insights on how the global ride-sharing firm is harnessing its customer experience to tailor content specifically to a rider’s journey type and destination.
Wright was joined by Lumen Research CEO Mike Follett who explored how attention drives profitability and how it can tangibly affect real business outcomes.
This was followed by a spirited debate on the portrayal of masculinity within modern advertising, discussed in the context of the hit Netflix series Adolescence, with panellists from BBDO and Getty Images having their say.
