Jewellery brand Pandora has announced the appointment of Sarah Chenery as its new marketing director for the UK & Ireland.

Chenery will lead Pandora’s end-to-end marketing channel mix, which includes the brand’s go-to-market strategy, paid media brand partnerships and PR and influencer initiatives.

The move follows a fourth consecutive quarter of resilient growth for the company – despite macroeconomic challenges – led in particular by a strong performance in the UK, Pandora’s second-largest market after North America.

Chenery, who was previously at Tiffany & Co as senior director of e-commerce and omnichannel for Europe, Middle East and Africa commented on her new appointment:

“I’m delighted to join the business during this exciting phase of its growth journey. Pandora has already made a significant impact in the industry and, as we continue to inject energy and investment in the brand, the opportunities to further strengthen its desirability amongst consumers are endless.”, she said.

Pandora UK and Ireland managing director, Rasmus Brix added: “I am thrilled that Sarah has taken this pivotal role in our organisation as we continue to grow Pandora’s brand desire and capture even bigger market share.

“Sarah’s extensive brand strategy experience and commercial execution background, coupled with her passion and strong leadership will add immense value, both, to our team and to our customers. I’m looking forward to working closely with her.”

Chenery will be taking over from Marco Groebel, who led the brand as acting marketing director in the interim period.
