Mr Kipling is bringing a taste of Christmas to the frozen aisle with the launch of a new limited-edition Mince Pie Ice Cream, available exclusively at Asda.

From 13 October, shoppers will be able to purchase the new 475ml frozen treat for a limited time only throughout the winter season, for an MRSP of £3.00.

The festive flavour combines ice cream with spiced fruit and mince pie pastry pieces, introducing a new way for shoppers to enjoy the Christmas classic mince pie taste.

“Our Mr Kipling Ice Cream range has already seen us bring some of our most loved treats into the frozen aisle,” Premier Foods marketing director for desserts Dan Jalalpour.

“Mr Kipling Mince Pie Ice Cream will give shoppers the chance to enjoy the festive flavour they know and love in a whole new way with our exceedingly good ice cream.”

The launch follows the success of Mr Kipling’s existing ice cream range, which reimagines its classic cakes and treats in frozen form, such as its Cherry Bakewell or French Fancy ice cream tubs.
