Ikea has introduced a Life at Home service, aimed at meeting various at-home needs.
The offering begins with the roll out of three new services – home move and setup, energy services and Ikea family credit card.
The DIY specialist has teamed up with Just Move to launch a home move and setup service. The feature is designed to handle admin tasks such as transferring bills, subscriptions and utilities, price comparing broadband and redirecting mail.
Additionally, the service helps customers book basic relocation needs, including support for removals, storage and deep cleaning properties.
Life at Home also offers a service helping customers with the switch to renewable energy providers. Ikea is set to recommend providers to make renewable energy “more accessible and affordable”. It will also connect customers with solar panel, heat pump, battery and EV charger providers.
In addition, the new service includes the Ikea family credit card, enabling users to spread the cost of small to medium-ticket purchases using flexible repayments.
The card offers 0% interest instalment plans for qualifying purchases, and customers can earn Ikea family reward points as they shop.
Shoppers earn one point per £5 spent at the business and one point for every £10 at any other retailer. The points can be redeemed for free products, discounts and other benefits.

Ikea UKIE customer manager Ashley Hamilton said: “At Ikea, we’ve always been driven by the mission to create a better everyday life for people.
“The Life at Home offering reflects this commitment. It’s a comprehensive collection of services that not only makes life at home more convenient and affordable but also empowers our customers to live more sustainably.
“With solutions that span moving home, energy and financial services, we’re making it easier for our customers to navigate life’s moments and transitions.”
The service comes after Ikea launched a new concept store inside an ex-Homebase unit in July.
The store, which is located in the former Homebase unit in Harlow, features a new compact layout for the Swedish furniture giant, while still housing its showroom, market hall and dedicated areas for its planning services.
