Supermarket chain Tesco has launched an out-of-home campaign sending messages of support to the England and Wales women’s football teams.

Devised by creative agency BBH, the marketing drive sends encouragement to the two teams who are competing in the Euros this summer.

At the centre of the campaign are a series of receipts which list favourite matchday snacks. But the receipts contain hidden messages, revealed in an acrostic.

The messages include ‘You’ve Got This’ and ‘Ymlaen Garfan’, meaning ‘Let’s go’ and ‘Come on team’.

According to the retailer, the marketing drive aims to engage “the increasing number of supporters who host watch parties as a way of showing their support for their teams”.
