Sainsbury’s is bringing back its festive challenge for Nectar customers by giving them the chance to collect at least 1,500 bonus points by completing personalised shopping tasks.

The supermarket chain’s ‘Count Up to Christmas’ challenge will run for nine weeks in the run-up to the festive period, giving customers the opportunity to win big by completing five bespoke tasks.

Kicking off on 9 October and wrapping up on 15 December, customers will be able to complete the challenges both online and in-store, receiving bonus points for each task. Once one is completed, the next challenge will be unlocked.

“Returning for another year, our hugely popular Count up to Christmas challenge offers customers another way to collect even more Nectar points when shopping with Sainsbury’s,” Sainsbury’s director of CRM and loyalty, Alex Naisby said.

“Whether you like to save them up for a seasonal treat or put them towards your weekly shop, we hope that our customers enjoy getting in the festive spirit with us in the run up to Christmas.”

Available to all digitally registered Nectar users, customers will also be able to collect points from partner brands such as Argos and British Airways.
