Dentsu executive creative director departs the business

Dentsu Creative executive creative director Sue Higgs is leaving the agency, after joining four years ago as joint chief executive creative director.

“Just a wee update for a wet Wednesday morn, I am no longer at Dentsu Creative,” she wrote announcing her departure on LinkedIn.

“That creative department is dynamite and so talented, I’m proud and in awe of every single one of them. (Most of whom will not get rid of me that easily. ),” she added.

Her departure comes after chief creative officer Caroline Pay and chief strategy officer Theo Izzard-Brown both departed the agency in June. Both had only joined at the start of this year.

The agency saw a raft of cuts between 2023 and 2024, with the business axing jobs as part of its One Dentsu restructuring programme.

The move came after it posted a turbulent 2023, with organic revenue falling 6.6% in the fourth quarter.
