GIlbert also described her as “a legend and an inspiration” within the industry.

Last year Brainlabs increased its overall valuation by eightfold to £260m after a fundraising round. Founded by Gilbert – who was previously an advertising consultant at Google – in 2012, the media agency has lately won a number of key accounts, such as Polaroid.
Unerman had previously worked as chief transformation officer at both EssenceMediacom and EssenceMediacom X since January 2023, after it formed a giant global megabrand.
EssenceMediacom launched globally under the WPP umbrella, but remained operating under EssenceMediacom X and EssenceMediacom in the UK due to licensing agreements.
