Ogilvy appoints first global chief transformation officer

Ogilvy has appointed its first global chief transformation officer, Antonis Kocheilas, who will be identifying, developing and implementing transformational strategies and systems for today’s market dynamic.

Kocheilas will be responsible for creating and scaling new offerings, tools and processes that keep the agency at the forefront of the evolving creative industry. He will partner with global CCO Liz Taylor, global CSO Sophie Hoffstetter, and global chief growth and marketing officer Philip Heimann.

Antonis will also be charged with the business’s transformation and innovation unit Ogilvy Consulting, which is comprised of over 225 consultants around the world.

He will work closely with regional leaders including Ann Higins in EMEA, Susan Machtinger in North America, Chris Brewer and Paolo Mercado in APAC, and Ranjiv Ramgolam in LATAM.

Kocheilas most recently served as global CEO of Ogilvy Advertising, where he helped lead the modernisation of the agency’s advertising, branding and content creation capabilities.

Speaking about his appointment, Kocheilas said he was looking forward to working with more of the firm’s clients, as well as its leaders globally.

Among its recent moves, the agency has formed a new health influencer unit to target those seeking medical information.
