Boxpark signs exclusive Open Media partnership for new Liverpool location

Open Media has announced an exclusive partnership with dining, leisure and entertainment venue Boxpark Liverpool, delivering one of the North West’s biggest out-of-home advertising opportunities.

The collaboration between the out-of-home media company and the dining, leisure and entertainment venue is the second exclusive deal between the two, and comes as Boxpark continues to expand its reach across the UK, since launching 13 years ago with its first East London site in Shoreditch.

Boxpark’s strategy and venues – positioned strategically in emerging, trendy, urban areas – complement Open Media’s growth plans, as the media company looks to expand its OOH networks with a focus on securing uncharted locations in up-and-coming, aspirational areas.

Open Media CEO Mike Smith said he was “thrilled” to be the exclusive media partner of Boxpark Liverpool, while also furthering the long-term partnership with the brand.

“Strategically, this addition to our portfolio represents a remarkable milestone for us as a business,” he continued.

Boxpark anticipates that its newest venue, situated close to the famous Albert Dock and the city’s main shopping destination Liverpool One, will attract over one million visitors annually.

Its head of new business and partnerships Dan Fullarton said: “Our longstanding relationship with Open Media has been a game-changer, generating fantastic opportunities for us both in terms of brand partnerships and revenue”.
