Watch: Lindt bunny gives Easter a touch of magic in new spot

Lindt has unveiled its latest advert, capturing the magical spirit of the Easter bunny in its gold foil and red ribbon.

The 30-second ‘Golden Trails’ spot taps into nostalgia by showing a child and grandparent exchanging Lindt chocolate Easter bunnies which produce sparkles, with the tagline “Make your Easter sparkle”.

Launching on March 4, the advert will run across various channels, VOD and online until Easter Sunday (31 March).

The ad, developed by Leo Burnett UK, highlights Lindt’s role in captivating the magic of the occasion for Easter, in a play on the grand reveal style of many Christmas adverts.

“Lindt’s new creative ‘Golden Trails’ brings to life the joy of connection with the Lindt Gold Bunny as the ultimate gift for all generations, making everyone’s Easter a bit more special,” said Angèle Villet, marketing director at Lindt & Sprüngli UK.

Leo Burnett UK chief creative officer Mark Elwood said: “The Lindt Gold Bunny is a proper Easter icon and we wanted to create a film that fully captured its magic.

“The new creative ‘Golden Trails’ does just that, as we see the excitement of gifting one through the eyes of a little boy. It’s a film with plenty of heart and charm which we hope will capture the nation’s imagination.”
