Heineken UK has appointed Rajeev Sathyes as its newest marketing director, after his predecessor Michael Gillane moved to a different role at the drinks giant.
Sathyes joins from Heineken APAC where he acted as director of commercial development, global brands, APAC.
He joined the firm in February 2021 from Procter & Gamble, where he had worked across marketing and commercial posts in Asia, Europe, Americas and Africa.

Gillane, who has held the marketing director role for the past four years, moves to become Heineken’s director of commercial development, global brands, Europe.
Heineken UK managing director Boudewijn Haarsma said: “We thank Michael for his leadership and commitment in driving a world-class marketing team and wish him well in his new role.”
“Rajeev brings with him considerable consumer goods experience from across the world and has a strong track record across many areas of the business.”
Sathyesh added: “It is a huge privilege to lead the marketing team in the UK – I have admired the work of the team from a distance and am now very excited to be part of it.”
In his capacity as Heineken UK marketing director Gillane helped to launch Cruzcampo and develop the drinks firm’s UK craft beer portfolio.
