Zoopla to air fresh ‘Just Ask Zoopla’ campaign on Christmas Day

Property search brand Zoopla is set to launch new 20-second versions of its “Just ask Zoopla” campaign on Christmas Day, the move comes after it achieved a 42% increase in listings on Boxing Day last year.

The original campaign, which rolled out 30-second spots on TV, VOD, digital and social channels tapped into the ‘real life’ changes that cause people to think about moving.

The campaign also featured voiceovers from BBC comedy Motherland star Diane Morgan.

Following the original campaign, the business has seen success from adverts including “Nana’s cottage” and “Kid’s cottage” in an effort to cement the campaign in people’s minds.

Zoopla  also unveiled a 16-week marketing campaign on Bank Holiday Monday last year, which featured in prime time slots including Channel 4’s The Great British Bake Off as well as ITV’s South African edition of I’m a Celebrity.

Speaking to Campaign magazine Zoopla head of consumer marketing Cassandra Hall said the campaign has already helped the property search tool achieve a “12% increase in the number of people who recognise its brand spontaneity”.

She continued: “We get that moving home is a combination of head and heart and want to guide people throughout that journey as a research tool. We understand the true value of a home, and are a brand that takes risks – and uses humour.”
