Adam&Eve/DDB chief executive exits after just four months

Adam&Eve/DDB chief executive, Helen Andrews, has resigned from the position – only four months after being appointed to the senior role.

Taking over from Tammy Einav, who was named executive chair in June, Andrews said the decision to leave the agency was “not easy”.

“Deciding to leave Adam&Eve/DDB wasn’t an easy decision to make, and I’d like to wish the wonderful team there all the best for the future,” explained Andrews.

Andrews, who previously worked at M&C Saatchi for over seven years, most recent position was at Wieden & Kennedy London where she held various positions between 2008 and 2022.

Einav, whose departure was supported by an announcement that she will still “remain heavily involved” in the agency’s network, new businesses and initiatives, spoke about the new CEO’s early exit.

“We’re grateful to Helen for her time at the agency and are sorry to see her go. We wish her well in the future,” she said.

“We have a very deep bench of management at Adam&Eve/DDB that will continue to lead the agency and look after our incredible people and clients. We will appoint and announce Helen’s successor in due course.”

Adam & Eve/DDB is one of Britain’s biggest ad agencies, securing the most awards for a UK agency at Cannes Lions 2023 and counting Marmite, Lloyds banking group, Playstation and CALM among its notable clients.

Former CEO and current executive chair Einav was at the helm when the agency made its landmark decision to split with John Lewis this February, after 14 years.
