Gymbox subverts OOH advertising with unique London bus concept

Challenger gym chain Gymbox is subverting the out-of-home genre with a playful concept, designed to be entirely displayed on the tops of London’s iconic red buses.

The quirky creative will promote Gymbox’s aerial and zero gravity classes after a seeing a 15% growth in the sector, making it one of the most in-demand fitness trends in the UK right now.

Gymbox’s latest disruptive out-of-home work will look to boost take up of its popular Aerial Pilates and Aerial Yoga classes as well as its more unique Cocoon class, which simply involves switching off in the comfort of a hammock.

“With aerial classes allowing you to be suspended in the air, we thought the roofs of London buses would be the perfect advertising space for prospective class users. After all, it’s quite a unique place to feature an advert, almost as unique as our Aerial classes!” said Gymbox marketing director, Rob McEntee.

More adventurous gymgoers can also try Trapeze classes to satiate their circus-themed desires, whilst Superfly enables customers to become a’zero-gravity force of nature’.
