TUI enlists Ant & Dec for side-splitting social campaign

Travel firm TUI has enlisted TV stars Ant & Dec for a new social-first campaign going live today under its ‘Live Happy’ brand platform.

Acting as ‘Happiness Ambassadors’, Ant & Dec will spearhead a new branded social content series that has been co-created by their own Mitre Studios in partnership with global agency Leo Burnett.

Running for the next six months, the creative will be centred around unique social content which will be showcased across both Ant & Dec and TUI’s social channels.

“We have an amazing opportunity to work with two of Britain’s happiest and most-loved TV presenters, Ant & Dec, to create a series of social content pieces to shine a light on the lengths that the TUI team goes to in order to help our customers Live Happy as a result of their holidays experiences,” TUI head of communications, Liz Edwards said.

The campaign will celebrate the joyful moments that holidaymakers experience before they embark on a foreign holiday, from planning to booking and even including the airport experience.

Imbued with Ant & Dec’s ever-popular brand of comedic banter, the films will be published across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

Leo Burnett UK creative director, Rob Tenconi, added: “We wanted to find an entertaining way to show the nation that TUI will do whatever it takes to ensure their holiday makers Live Happy.

“And in our collaboration with the much-loved Ant & Dec, two kings of entertainment and popular culture, we found our answer. Over the next six months we’re going to be sharing their mischievous adventures through the TUI business to see what they find out – watch this space…”
