Rankin Creative poaches Futerra exec as new CCO

Leading creative agency, Rankin Creative has appointed former Futerra CCO Warren Beeby as its new chief creative officer.

In his new role, Warren will take responsibility for leading the creative team and driving the agency’s vision and direction. He will work closely with strategy and development partner, Nimi Raja – as well as head of account management, Amy Claridge – to build brands through culturally relevant strategic ideas.

Rankin Creative is an independent end-to-end creative agency, which was founded by cultural provocateur, photographer and director John Rankin in 2018.

“When Rankin suggested that Warren might be available to us for this role, I jumped at the chance,” said CEO Richard Pinder, who said he was “thrilled” to be working with Beeby.

“We had an excellent experience working with him as a creative client at Futerra and I knew our creative, strategy, account and production teams would welcome him with open arms.”

With over 30 years of experience in the creative industry, Beeby said he was “excited” to join Rankin Creative and work with its “talented and passionate team”.

Having previously been a partner and co-creative director at independent design studio, SPIN, where he worked on global brands, such as Nike and Levi’s, Beeby has spent the past eight years focusing on using the power of purpose and sustainability to transform brands at change agency Futerra.

“We need brave, culturally relevant brand building work now more than ever – work that provokes debate and offers solutions to the challenges of our changing world. And I can’t think of a better place than Rankin Creative to make that work,” he added.
