Serious Tissues finally unveils award-winning spot

Sky Zero Footprint Fund 2022 Grand Prix winner Serious Tissues has today (25 April) has today launched its prize-winning ad campaign, promoting its carbon-neutral toilet roll proposition.

The brand fought off hundreds of competitors to take the Fund’s top prize, securing up to £1 million in media value for the month-long campaign.

Running through to 22 May, the hero 30-second spot will be rolled out across Sky Media’s Linear TV and will later feature on Sky’s video-on-demand service.

With sustainability at its heart, the campaign sheds a light on the negative impacts of the mass production of toilet paper on the environment, and highlights how Serious Tissues’ products are saving trees, shrinking landfills, and aiding reforestation.

“Toilet paper is an everyday essential – which only makes it all the more important that it is produced in the most sustainable way possible. We were thrilled to take home the Grand Prix prize, £1 million of advertising across Sky’s linear TV and VOD service, which will expose our brand to millions of new customers,” Serious Tissues founder, Chris Baker said.

“Not only will this help us reduce our industry’s carbon footprint, but it will also be instrumental in helping us make massive strides towards our reforestation goals.”

Made from 100% recycled materials (such as unused office reports and old magazines) , the brand’s innovative way of producing toilet roll aims to to cut the number of excess trees used to create the product.
