Saatchi & Saatchi planner launches AI-powered brief-writing platform

Saatchi & Saatchi London planner, Ewan Patel has co-launched Briefly, a new briefing platform that uses AI technology and the latest developments in Natural Language Processing to supercharge the brief writing process.

Not only will the new platform streamline project creation, it will also deliver AI-generated, human-validated tips, prompts and feedback specially-designed for marketing briefs.

Having been launched in Alpha in late 2022, Briefly has been met with resounding interest since going public, and will enter its Beta phase through the creation of bespoke platforms for selected clients.

“We know first-hand how impactful a great brief can be. Marketing briefs are the springboards for all of the brilliant creativity this industry produces every day,” Patel said.

“So at Briefly we’re building a platform that enables every marketer to write clear, concise, inspiring briefs and get to great work faster. We’ve been humbled by the interest and support we’ve received already, and we’ve got an exciting few months ahead as we start working with our first partners.”

Developed by Patel and former AMV BBDO creative Gabriel Sayers, the programme will launch this summer and mirrors the ‘Uncreative Agency’, an AI brief-writing tool launched by DDB’s George Strakhov last month.

Saatchi & Saatchi CEO, Chris Kay added: “We love seeing our incredibly smart crew hustling on projects outside of these four walls – and it’s even better when that project is something as shrewd, forward-thinking and practical as Briefly. We’re proud to back Ewan and Gabriel as they take Briefly into the spotlight.”
