Quiet Storm named as Shaken Udder’s agency of record, given £2.5 m backing

Premium milkshake brand Shaken Udder has this week appointed Quiet Storm as its agency of record at the conclusion of a competitive pitch process against an undisclosed outfit.

Quiet Storm’s appointment significantly marks the first time that Shaken Udder has selected an agency of record, and forms part of a marked change to its strategy as it look to supercharge growth over the next two years.

The agency will be tasked with developing a campaign designed to bring ‘fun and positivity’ to the milkshake category, backed by a significant £2.5 million spend.

“We had great chemistry with the Shaken Udder team from the first meeting. Milkshakes are too often overlooked as a key snacking option for that mid-morning or mid-afternoon pick-me-up. Together we’re hoping to shake up the category and inject some fun into it”, Quiet Storm founder and executive creative director, Trevor Robinson OBE said.

The omnichannel campaign will be launched in the second half of this year, and signals a departure from Shaken Udder’s previous strategy, which was focused on events, sampling and tactical advertising.

Shaken Udder marketing director, Jo Abram added: “We’re hugely excited to be working with Quiet Storm. Not only did we feel the chemistry between us was great, but they really challenged us with their creative thinking. We can’t wait to develop work that highlights the positive role our milkshakes can play in people’s lives”.
