TikTok has launched a new virtual interactive education platform – TikTok Academy – across Europe in a bid to up-skill brands and agencies on how to best utilise the app for business.
Through global and regional collaboration, the free ‘always-on’ platform will offer a uniform, centralised educational experience around the world, while also addressing regional education priorities.
Initially, courses will focus on TikTok ‘101’ introductory overviews, covering the likes of creativity, safety and advertising, through to creative best practices, keeping communities safe and more specific product solutions.
According to the brand, the training programme is built for businesses of all sizes and will provide users with a digital badge that they are able to share publicly on social media to recognise their completion of a TikTok Academy course.

The academy will also feature dedicated course modules for small businesses, helping them create content that connects with their audiences.
