PepsiCo’s Tropicana announces new UK PR agency

Global soft-drink firm Tropicana has this week announced the appointment of London-based Stir as it UK PR agency, which will now handle the brand’s consumer campaigns and trade office.

Working as part of an integrated agency team, Stir will collaborate with sister agency Communicator to produce omnichannel creative campaigns and a trade press office, in order to drive UK-wide brand awareness for Tropicana – as it looks to retain its position as the nation’s ‘preferred’ juice brand.

Stir’s remit will begin with a consumer-facing PR push over the coming months, kicking-off a wider, integrated first quarter campaign.

“We were keen to onboard an agency that could bring fresh ideas to a brand that is synonymous with the juicy category in the UK,” Tropicana head of marketing, Caroline Wilding said.

“Stir stood out as an agency that could work as part of an integrated agency team to deliver stand-out consumer campaigns alongside a strong trade press office, so we’re eager to get going.”

This latest business win for the PR firm marks a successful period of new additions, which also includes Moët Hennessy UK Limited, Sentia, Bad Brownie, and Taco Bell.

Stir PR managing director, Polly Atherton added: “At Stir, we are passionate about tapping into consumer emotions to drive brand awareness and engagement, and Tropicana – as the juice category leader – naturally already captures a piece of the nation’s heart.

“Not only do we as an agency have the experience and media connections to retain and increase attention for the brand across consumer and trade media, but we’re fans of the product and excited by upcoming plans for the brand. We’re thrilled to be onboard as part of its wider agency team and look forward to stirring emotion and impact for them throughout 2023.”
