Love Island couples up with Boots as the official beauty partner for third series in a row

ITV2’s Love Island has selected Boots to be its official beauty partner for the third series in a row.

The latest series of the reality show – airing on 16 January – will see the health and beauty retailer stock the Love Island villa up with ‘more beauty must haves than ever before’.

Some 13 different categories of products will be used by the islanders, including make-up, fragrance, skincare, dental, toiletries and sun-care. Brands being added to the show include Soltan, Shark, Elemis, Georgio Armani, Liz Earle, Fenty, Huda, 17, MAC, No7, Soltan and Soap & Glory.

The partnership will be supported 360-marketing campaign entitled ‘Find the Ones’, which aims to help Boots customers discover the products seen on the show and find their own ‘perfect match’.

“We are thrilled to be returning to the Love Island villa as the official beauty partner for the third time,” Boots chief marketing officer Peter Markey said.

“The partnership performs extremely well for us and allows us to showcase our brands in front of an engaged audience of both new and existing customers. This winter, we want to inspire customers looking to enhance their beauty regimes or upgrade their makeup bags to try out the Islanders looks for themselves at home”.

According to the health and beauty brand, two thirds of the campaign audience bought into the retailer’s products as a result of seeing the campaign. The Boots activations also achieved over 20 million impressions across all media channels.

ITV director of creative and digital partnerships, Bhavit Chandrani, added: “We’re really excited to team up with Boots as our beauty partner again this series. Every year our partnership has strengthened & grown and the Islanders love trying the fantastic range of Boots products which they have access to in the Love Island villa. This year it’s guaranteed to be better than ever”.
