Morrisons now offers its loyalty card scheme members exclusive discounts similar to that of Tesco’s Clubcard Prices deals.
Over the weekend, the supermarket began to implement in-store advertising to promote the new scheme, with offers for My Morrisons members to start featuring from this week forward.
“The type of offer available, and the categories we run the offers on, will evolve as we continue to listen to customer feedback,” a Morrisons spokesman told The Grocer when describing the “exclusive deals.”
Discounts will include offers such as half price on Ben and Jerry’s ice cream and two for £6 on tubs Roses, Quality Street, Celebrations and Cadbury Heroes.

Last year the supermarket chain re-vamped its loyalty scheme by offering scheme members “instant money” as opposed to points.
The news comes months after the ‘big four’ supermarket chain launched an internal advertising agency, the Morrisons Media Group, which aims to help supplier brands deliver bespoke campaigns to the grocer’s extensive customer base.
The new agency will aim to give brands access to new customer cohorts via a range of owned channels, including in-store and online media, alongside third party media campaigns leveraging digital and social.
