Broadcaster Ashley James named as Tu Clothing brand ambassador

Celebrity mum and broadcaster Ashley James has been unveiled as Tu Clothing’s new brand ambassador.

In the new 12-month deal, James will become an official advocate of the brands’ womenswear, baby clothing, childrenswear and maternity ranges.

The broadcaster and DJ will work in partnership with Tu on upcoming projects, producing exclusive content to support the Big 4 grocer’s clothing arm aim of providing customers with fashion-forward, quality and on-trend clothing at great prices.

James has a long-term affiliation with Tu, having worked with the brand previously on campaigns providing advice and support to mums on dressing and feeling confident during pregnancy, post-partum and beyond.

“Ashley is a trusted and respected voice on matters close to the heart of many of our customers, and her open and relatable approach really resonated with Tu,” Tu clothing director of product Emma Benjafield said.

“We couldn’t think of a more brilliant ambassador to embody our brand and support some of the exciting moments we have planned for Tu in the coming year.”

James added that it is a “dream come true to be the ambassador of Tu Clothing”.

She said: “One of the reasons I love them so much is because of how much they want to support women and help make them feel confident not just in pregnancy, but in postnatal and beyond. I’m thrilled to be working with Tu on a longer-term basis, as I love to work with brands I truly believe in. It’s even more exciting that I’ll see myself in my local supermarket.

“Tu’s values are something I feel so strongly about, especially the work we have done together over the past year on supporting mums on their pregnancy and parenting journeys. We have so many exciting projects in the works that I can’t wait to get started.”
