Waitrose and production company Somethin:Else have unveiled their new food podcast Dish, which will be hosted by Nick Grimshaw and chef Angela Hartnett OBE.
The weekly podcast will see the radio presenter and Michelin-star restaurateur sit down to eat ‘delicious’ food and drink while engaging in and unfiltered, ‘hilarious’ chat alongside some ‘very special guests’.
The grocer’s podcast launch comes as consumers continue to feel the pinch of the cost of living crisis.
As Angela Hartnett makes and serves some ‘incredible’ dishes, shares tips, and recommends Waitrose recipes, Radio 1 alumni, Nick Grimshaw will stick to serving the drinks and interviewing their special guests.
“Nick’s radio experience and his desire to include the crew in the recording, gives the podcast an energy and vitality that is rarely heard, making it a first-of-its-kind in the podcast space,” Waitrose said.

The likes of James May, Rylan Clark-Neal, Clive Myrie and BRIT Award winning Mabel will be joining the ‘foody’ pair at the table.
“I’m well excited about hosting this new podcast with Angela – one of my food heroes. It’s going to see us doing what we do best, hosting dinners, serving drinks, and chatting for eternity. It’s going to be a lot of fun,” Nick Grimshaw said.
Filmed clips from each episode will be available to watch via the official Waitrose YouTube channel, giving listeners the chance to get ‘up close and personal’ with the conversation.
Angela Hartnett added: “Working with Nick on this has been hysterical, I spend the whole time laughing. What’s not to love about cooking, eating, drinking, and chatting with our dream dinner-party guests? I hope everyone enjoys it; as much as we did recording it.”
The series will kick off on 8 June with stars of hit TV show, Ted Lasso, Hannah Waddingham and Phil Dunster chiming in on the conversation.
