Fashion brand Macy’s has launched its brand platform, Own Your Style, which aims to help customers discover and express their individual styles by connecting them with products, advice and inspiration.
As part of the launch, customers are able to “celebrate” their individuality by scrolling through Macy’s curated assortment of brands and trends.
The new brand will also aid them in overcoming “style challenges” and aim to inspire them with fashion tips, hacks and how-tos.
The launch comes as part of the company’s strategy to engage customers with branded content, personalised data-driven recommendations and in-person expert advice.
“Style is unique to the individual,” Macy’s chief brand officer Rich Lennox said.
“This brand transformation will enhance our customer’s shopping experience with more personal touchpoints and offer them true value and style that they can own.”

Macy’s will also reintroduce its “Style Crew” onto the platform, a diverse community of fashion experts. Customers will be able to click through the Style Crew members’ posts and gain inspiration.
Macy’s added: “These in-house experts move their social media followers and customers to make informed purchasing decisions through tips, live demos, product tutorials and recommendations.”
The Own Your Style digitally led omnichannel experience, will become fully integrated across Macy’s website, app, social media and stores.
