Sky poaches first-ever chief advertising and new revenue officer from Warner Bros.

Media giant Sky has appointed Priya Dogra as its inaugural chief advertising and new revenue officer. Joining from Warner Bros., Dogra will take up the role in June.

Reporting into chief business officer Nick Herm, Dogra will sit on the company’s executive management committee and will work closely with Sky Media managing director Brett Aumuller who will be reporting into her.

She leaves the Warner Bros. media empire after a 14-year spell with the US firm, having a held a variety of senior roles in a range of global markets culminating in president and managing director of the EMEA region.

“Priya brings a wealth of operational and strategic experience in the media industry, and her proven track record of success, partnered with our history of innovation will be integral to driving growth areas for Sky, as we continue to connect our customers to more of what they love,” Herm said.

In her new role, Dogra will be tasked with leading and growing Sky’s advertising sales division whilst simultaneously developing its non-subscription revenue streams.
