Almond Breeze aims to be the ‘official drink of the metaverse’ with NFT drop

Almond Breeze has planned to release a limited collection of banana almond-milk themed NFTs, making the most of the popular “ape NFT” metaverse trend.

The beverage company will launch a total of 1,000 free ‘#APEFUEL NFTs, in a bid to bring its banana almond-milk “closer to its virtual fans.”

Of these 1,000 NFTs, three will come with a subscription for a year’s supply of Almond Breeze blended with real bananas.

Some 5% of each NFT resale will also be donated to Future Farmers of America to “support the next generation of growers.”

The news comes as many other brands attempt to find ways of advertising within the metaverse.
