Argos and Pinterest collaborate to launch London hotel

Catalogue retailer Argos has teamed up with the image-sharing social media platform Pinterest to create the “Argos Mood Hotel”.

The concept hotel will be located at the Town Hall Hotel in Bethnal Green, London and will be curated exclusively using products from the high street retailer.

The hotel will feature items from the retailer’s latest homeware and furniture ranges and will bring to life the latest home décor trends featured in Pinterest Predict, the platform’s annual trends report.

The Mood Hotel will be open to the public from 2 April to 4 April with six suites available to book a complimentary overnight stay.

Those unable to visit will be able to experience the hotel via an interactive 360-degree video and high-res photography on both Pinterest and Argos social media channels.

Pinterest head of creative strategy EMEA Sibylle Tretera added: “The Mood Hotel taps into the phenomenal cultural shift we’ve all lived through in the last two years.
