Coffee brand Nespresso is teaming up with social charity initiative Change Please to host a coffee fundraising residency in Covent Garden, London.
Between 1 and 10 October, the van will be selling coffee daily, with the profits going to Change Please’s efforts towards ending homelessness.
Londoners will be offered a free coffee on 1 October, World Coffee Day, between 10 am and 5 pm. The move reinstates Nespresso’s goal of backing charitable intiatives.
Anna Lundstrom, chief executive of Nespresso UK & ROI, commented: “At Nespresso, we have always believed in the power of coffee as a force for good. What better way to celebrate International Coffee Day than to showcase this power?

“Over the next 10 days, we invite Londoners to take a moment to enjoy our specially crafted Nespresso for Change Please coffees and learn about how together we can support people on their journey out of homelessness.”
Change Please is a coffee cart in Covent Garden focused on providing aid to people experiencing homelessness and giving barista training, as well as housing and mental health support.
Nespresso has donated £1.5 million to the initiative as part of its commitment to supporting social purposes while promoting consumer engagement.
