Premier grocer Waitrose has opted to work with independent agency Wonderhood Studios for its 2025 Christmas campaign, instead of Saatchi & Saatchi.
This would mark the second time this year that the John Lewis Partnership-owned supermarket chain has opted to work with Wonderhood Studios.
First reported by Campaign, the new follows on from Saatchi & Saatchi losing its exclusive creative agency status on the Waitrose account earlier this year.

A spokeswoman for the John Lewis Partnership told the publication that Saatchi & Saatchi remains on the Waitrose roster but there are “no active projects for Waitrose at the moment”.
She added: “As we said earlier in the year, like many brands, our long term aim is to work with a number of agency partners depending on the requirements of the brief. This hasn’t changed and we have selected Wonderhood studios as our agency partners for this year’s Waitrose Christmas ad.”
The historic London agency has created the 2023 and 2024 Waitrose Christmas campaigns, although Wonderhood did produce two social films to accompany last year’s ‘whodunnit’-themed creative.
