Banking group Nationwide has named Uncovered as its new retained social media agency, at the conclusion of a competitive pitch process managed by Tuffon Hall.

The London-based agency fought off competition from OK Cool and Native for the account, which had no incumbent.

According to Campaign, Uncovered will now be tasked with leading the development and delivery of Nationwide’s social media strategy and content across all platforms.

“Social is an important part of how we build the brand and reflect what makes us different as a mutual. Uncovered impressed us with their creativity, strategic thinking, and understanding of our brand. We’re looking forward to where we can take the Nationwide brand,” said Richard Warren, director of brand, marketing and corporate affairs at Nationwide.

This latest win follows a string of account success for Uncovered in the past few months, having recently secured the Rightmove social media account, as well as Tesco and Pukka Pies earlier this year.

Chris Cookson, CEO and founder of Uncovered added: “We’re incredibly proud to be working with Nationwide, a brand that genuinely puts people at the heart of everything it does.

“This isn’t just another social brief, it’s about creating work that resonates where it matters, with warmth, wit, and a bit of mischief. Huge thanks to Richard, Daisy, and the team for their trust, we can’t wait to get started.”
