Premium grocer Waitrose has selected London-based agency Wonderhood Studios to lead on its upcoming 2025 summer campaigns, picking up from Saatchi & Saatchi.

The move comes after Saatchi & Saatchi was very publicly stripped of its exclusive agency status last month, although it will still retain agency of record status for John Lewis.

Wonderhood had previously worked with Waitrose on its whodunnit-themed ‘Sweet Suspicion’ Christmas campaign, producing two made-for-social films.

The supermarket chain has also confirmed that it will be reviewing its full roster of agencies for upcoming campaigns beyond this summer, including its 2025 Christmas activity.

“We’re excited to be working with Wonderhood on our summer campaign this year. We’ve not yet made any decisions regarding our Christmas campaign,” a Waitrose spokesperson said.

Wonderhood Studios founder and CEO, Alex Best added: “We’re delighted to be working with Waitrose on their summer campaign. It’s an exciting brief and we can’t wait to bring it to life.”
