TBWA\London names Annie Gallimore as new managing director

Creative agency TBWA\London has named Annie Gallimore as its managing director.

Creative agency TBWA\London has named Annie Gallimore as its new managing director.

Having previously worked as managing director of Acne London, part of Deloitte Digital, Gallimore will join the senior leadership team, working alongside chief executive Larissa Vince and chief creative officer Andy Jex.

Gallimore will report to Vince and oversee the creative agency’s operations including talent management and senior client relationships.

Annie Gallimore said: “I am thrilled to join TBWA\London, an agency that is shining brightly in a challenging time for the industry. The team’s dedication to solving clients’ problems through creativity and their impressive growth trajectory were major attractions for me.

“I look forward to working closely with the senior leadership team to support our talented staff, strengthen client relationships, and continue driving the agency forward.”

She has previously worked as managing director of WCRS, head of marketing at Waterstones, managing director of House 337 (formerly Engine UK), and was managing partner at Grey London.

Gallimore is also a council member of the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) and a member of Women in Advertising and Communications, Leadership (WACL).

Previous creative work Gallimore has worked on includes campaigns for NHS Blood and Transport and Stella McCartney x Netflix.

According to TBWA\London Gallimore will not be replacing anyone.

Vince added: “Annie’s experience at brilliant agencies like WCRS and her exposure to digital-first consulting at Deloitte is going to make her such a great addition to our team. She’s renowned by the people that have worked with her for her ability to build strong senior client relationships with calm and assurance, including high-profile clients such as the UK Government.
