Coffee brand Nespresso has recruited global footballing superstar and former England captain David Beckham to front its heartwarming 2024 Christmas film.

Rolling out from today (14 November), the Swiss firm’s festive campaign looks to capture the essence of the season with a touching story focused on the importance of moments of joy and laughter.

The clip sees Beckham making himself a cup of Nespresso Inizio coffee in a ‘Vertuo Creatista’ machine before playfully giving the snowman in his garden football-themed makeover.

Beckham himself said: “I had a great time making this festive film with Nespresso – I love this time of year, being with friends and family, having fun, and making memories.”

The move follows on from Beckham’s decision to sign on to Nespresso’s celebrity roster last year, joining the likes of George Clooney and Jean Dujardin as brand ambassador.

Commenting at the time, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star said: “I’ve always loved Nespresso coffee. Whether I am having a quiet moment at home with my family or preparing myself for a business meeting, the variety of blends is great, it’s so simple to make and every cup tastes incredible.”
